Sometimes people come into our life & we know right away that they were meant to be there, to serve some sort of purpose, teach us a lesson, or help su figure out who we are or who we want to become we never know who these people may be (possibly our roommate, neighbor, professor, long lost friend, lover, or even a complete stranger), but when we
lock eyes with them, we know at the very moment that they will affect our life in some profound way.
and sometime things will happen to us that may seem horrible, painful, & unfair at first, but in reflection we find that without overcoming these obstacles that we would have never realized our true potential, strength, will power, or heart
Everything happens for a reason. Nothing happens by chance or by mean of good luck. Illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness & sheer stupidity all occur to test the limits of your soul. Without this small test, whatever they may be, life would be like a smoothly paved, straight, flat road to nowhere. It would be safe & comfortable, but dull and utterly pointless.
The people that we meet who affect our life, and the success and downfalls we experience, help to create who we are and who we will become Even the bad experiences are learned from. In fact, they are the most poignant ones.
If someone hurts us, betrays us, or breaks our heart, forgive them for they have helped you learn about trust and the importance of being cautious when we open our heart. If someone loves us, love them back unconditionally, not only because they love us, but because in a way, they are teaching us to love & how to open our heart & eyes to things.
Make everyday count. Appreciate every moment & take from those moments everything we could possibly can for we may never be able to experience it again. Talk to people that we have never talked to before & actually listen... Let yourself fall in love again, break free, and set our sights high. Hold our head up because we have every right too.
Tell ourself that we are a great individual & believe in ourself. For if we don't believe in ourself, it will be hard for others to believe in us. We can make our life anything we wish.....Create our own life & then go out & live it with absolutely NO REGRETS. Most importantly, if we love someone tell him or her, for you NEVER know what tomorrow may have in store. And learn a lesson in life each day we live.
Today is the tomorrow we were worried about yesterday.... Was it worth it?

Why Intelligent People Fail
Why Intelligent People Fail
1.Lack of motivation. A talent is irrelevant if a person is not motivated to use it. Motivation may be external (for example, social approval) or internal (satisfaction from a job well-done, for instance). External sources tend to be transient, while internal sources tend to produce more consistent performance.
2.Lack of impulse control. Habitual impulsiveness gets in the way of optimal performance. Some people do not bring their full intellectual resources to bear on a problem but go with the first solution that pops into their heads.
3.Lack of perserverance and perseveration. Some people give up too easily, while others are unable to stop even when the quest will clearly be fruitless.
4.Using the wrong abilities. People may not be using the right abilities for the tasks in which they are engaged.
5.Inability to translate thought into action. Some people seem buried in thought. They have good ideas but rarely seem able to do anything about them.
6.Lack of product orientation. Some people seem more concerned about the process than the result of activity.
7.Inability to complete tasks. For some people nothing ever draws to a close. Perhaps it’s fear of what they would do next or fear of becoming hopelessly enmeshed in detail.
8. Failure to initiate. Still others are unwilling or unable to initiate a project. It may be indecision or fear of commitment.
9.Fear of failure. People may not reach peak performance because they avoid the really important challenges in life.
10.Procrastination. Some people are unable to act without pressure. They may also look for little things to do in order to put off the big ones.
11.Misattribution of blame. Some people always blame themselves for even the slightest mishap. Some always blame others.
12.Excessive self-pity. Some people spend more time feeling sorry for themselves than expending the effort necessary to overcome the problem.
13. Excessive dependency. Some people expect others to do for them what they ought to be doing themselves.
14.Wallowing in personal difficulties. Some people let their personal difficulties interfere grossly with their work. During the course of life, one can expect some real joys and some real sorrows. Maintaining a proper perspective is often difficult.
15.Distractibility and lack of concentration. Even some very intelligent people have very short attention spans.
16.Spreading oneself too think or too thick. Undertaking too many activities may result in none being completed on time. Undertaking too few can also result in missed opportunities and reduced levels of accomplishment.
17.Inability to delay gratification. Some people reward themselves and are rewarded by others for finishing small tasks, while avoiding bigger tasks that would earn them larger rewards.
18. Inability to see the forest for the trees. Some people become obsessed with details and are either unwilling or unable to see or deal with the larger picture in the projects they undertake.
19.Lack of balance between critical, analytical thinking and creative, synthetic thinking. It is important for people to learn what kind of thinking is expected of them in each situation.
20.Too little or too much self-confidence. Lack of self-confidence can gnaw away at a person’s ability to get things done and become a self-fulfilling prophecy. Conversely, individuals with too much self-confidence may not know when to admit they are wrong or in need of self-improvement.

Recipe for Thinking Positively
People with positive attitude are generally luckier in life, land better jobs and are happier. Furthermore studies show that individuals who think positively are healthier and live longer. The times are tough and everyone has problems, but it is never late to start thinking positively. Here are my easy tips to get going:
Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
Step 1
Smile more and stop complaining! It might be hard at the beginning but it will get easier. Your smile will be a facilitator between you and many nice people who will be just like you - smart, enthusiastic and positive. Often people are complaining that there are not reasons to smile. Not necessary true. How about beauty of life, having a family or beautiful children!
Step 2
Don't oversleep. It might sounds out of order but it is not. People who oversleep are more likely to have depression. This not necessarily means that everyone who oversleeps has a problem. You just make sure that your sleep is between 7 and 9 hours. Oversleeping will make you miss a lot of life - like brisk morning jog or reading the morning paper on your back porch. And your newly positive nature doesn't want to miss anything from the joys of life!
Step 3
Change the way you talk. That is very critical to your success but doesn't require more than simple repetition. Instead of I'll fail, I don't know or that's impossible use words like I can do it, I can learn or why not - only the sky is the limit! The newly positive attitude will help you at work too - if you manager ask you - the person with "I can attitude" and a person who used to be like you - unsure and unwilling, who do you think is going to land a promotion faster?
Step 4
Stop digging into your past and blame yourself for old mistakes. Admit it - there is not much you can do about the past. You will only heart yourself and make yourself depressed. You might not be very desirable company either. Try to think positively and make yourself aware that you are in control of your present and your future - how amazing is that?
Step 5
Think of the lessons you learnt. Every time you go thru hard time or some sad situation, outline all the lessons you learnt and ask yourself would you learn that if you didn't overcome that obstacle. For example, getting broke and starting all over is not the end of the world - it leads to many positive things like learning to manage better your money or knowing who your real friends are!

Healthiest Foods on Earth
Healthiest Foods on Earth
1. Berries
All berries are low in sugar and high in fiber. Blueberries have been shown to increase memory in lab studies, and raspberries and strawberries are loaded with ellagic acid, a powerful antioxidant that seems to have some anti-cancer properties, according to the American Cancer Society.
2. Beans
Beans are extremely high in fiber, which helps to control weight, prevent or manage diabetes and blood sugar, and may help prevent colon cancer and protect against heart disease. The National Institute of Medicine recommends 25-38 grams of fiber a day. The average American gets only 4-11 grams. One cup of beans provides 11-17 grams.
3. Nuts
Some of the largest and most important long-term studies of diet and health have shown that eating nuts several times a week is consistent with a risk of heart attack and heart disease that is 30%-50% lower than the general population. Just one ounce of nuts-almonds, macadamia, Brazil, walnuts, pecans-eaten three to five times a week seems to be the magic number.
4. Wild Salmon
Fish is the ultimate anti-aging food. Cold-water fatty fish like wild salmon, sardines, mackerel and herring contain omega-3 fats that protect the brain and the heart, improve mood, and lower blood pressure and triglycerides.
5. Raw Milk
Raw, organic milk nearly always comes from grass-fed cows and contains high levels of cancer-fighting CLA (conjugated linolenic acid) as well as a rich assortment of vitamins, minerals and beneficial bacteria (like Lactobacillus acidophilus)
6. Grass-Fed
Meat from grass-fed cows has a much different fat profile than ordinary supermarket meat: high in omega-3s, lower in potentially harmful omega-6s and loaded with CLA, a kind of fat known for its anti-cancer activity. A superb source of protein and vitamin B12, it's also missing the antibiotics, steroids and hormones found in the meat that comes from feedlot farms.
7. Eggs
Considered by many to be nature's most perfect food, the egg is high in protein and relatively low in calories. The yolk contains choline, one of the most important nutrients for the brain, as well as lutein and xeazanthin, two critical nutrients for eye health. Brassica Vegetables Cabbage, Brussels sprouts, broccoli and kale all contain plant compounds called indoles that help reduce the risk of cancer. In addition to a stunning range of vitamins and minerals, they also contain sulforaphane, an important plant chemical that helps the body detoxify health-damaging chemicals.
8. Apples
Not only do they keep the doctor away, they also appear to do the same for lung cancer, diabetes and asthma. An apple contains five grams of fiber and a rich blend of nutrients including the bone-building vitamin K and the anti-inflammatory nutrient quercetin. And there's no better way to control your appetite than an apple eaten about half an hour before a big meal.
9. Onions and Garlic
In an impressive number of published studies, the consumption of onions and garlic has demonstrated protective effects against stomach, prostate and esophageal cancer. Along with broccoli, tea and apples, onions and garlic are among a select group of foods found to reduce mortality from heart disease by 20%.
10. Pomegranate Juice
Called "a natural Viagra" by researchers at Tel Aviv University, pomegranate juice is loaded with antioxidants. Studies show it can reduce blood pressure and plaque in the arteries. New research indicates it also slows the progression of tumors.. Four to eight ounces a day is highly recommended.
11. Green Tea
Though all teas are great for you, green tea has a unique profile of plant chemicals that have anti-cancer activity. It's now fairly established that green tea may help prevent the following types of cancers in humans: bladder, colon, esophagus, pancreas, rectum and stomach. If that's not enough, it also appears to help with weight control.

Improve your Brain
Everyone can take steps to improve their memory, and with time and practice most people can gain the ability to memorize seemingly impossible amounts of information. Whether you want to win the World Memory Championships, ace your history test, or simply remember where you put your keys, this article can get you started. Scientists believe that exercising your brain can create a ‘cognitive reserve' that will help you stay sharp as you age.
1. Convince yourself that you do have a good memory that will improve. Too many people get stuck here and convince themselves that their memory is bad, that they are just not good with names, that numbers just slip out of their minds for some reason. Erase those thoughts and vow to improve your memory. Commit yourself to the task and bask in your achievements — it's hard to keep motivated if you beat yourself down every time you make a little bit of progress.
2. Keep your brain active. The brain is not a muscle, but regularly “exercising” the brain actually does keep it growing and spurs the development of new nerve connections that can help improve memory. By developing new mental skills—especially complex ones such as learning a new language or learning to play a new musical instrument—and challenging your brain with puzzles and games you can keep your brain active and improve its physiological functioning.
3. Exercise daily. Regular aerobic exercise improves circulation and efficiency throughout the body, including in the brain, and can help ward off the memory loss that comes with aging. Exercise also makes you more alert and relaxed, and can thereby improve your memory uptake, allowing you to take better mental “pictures.”
4. Reduce stress. Chronic stress, although it does not physically damage the brain, can make remembering much more difficult. Even temporary stresses can make it more difficult to effectively focus on concepts and observe things. Try to relax, regularly practice yoga or other stretching exercises, and see a doctor if you have severe chronic stress.
5. Eat well and eat right. There are a lot of herbal supplements on the market that claim to improve memory, but none have yet been shown to be effective in clinical tests (although small studies have shown some promising results for ginkgo biloba and phosphatidylserine) . A healthy diet, however, contributes to a healthy brain, and foods containing antioxidants— broccoli, blueberries, spinach, and berries, for example—and Omega-3 fatty acids appear to promote healthy brain functioning. Feed your brain with such supplements as Thiamine, Vitamin E, Niacin and Vitamin B-6. Grazing, eating 5 or 6 small meals throughout the day instead of 3 large meals, also seems to improve mental functioning (including memory) by limiting dips in blood sugar, which may negatively affect the brain.
6. Take better pictures. Often we forget things not because our memory is bad, but rather because our observational skills need work. One common situation where this occurs (and which almost everyone can relate to) is meeting new people. Often we don't really learn people's names at first because we aren't really concentrating on remembering them. You'll find that if you make a conscious effort to remember such things, you'll do much better. One way to train yourself to be more observant is to look at an unfamiliar photograph for a few seconds and then turn the photograph over and describe or write down as many details as you can about the photograph. Try closing your eyes and picturing the photo in your mind. Use a new photograph each time you try this exercise, and with regular practice you will find you're able to remember more details with even shorter glimpses of the photos.
7. Give yourself time to form a memory. Memories are very fragile in the short-term, and distractions can make you quickly forget something as simple as a phone number. The key to avoid losing memories before you can even form them is to be able to focus on the thing to be remembered for a while without thinking about other things, so when you're trying to remember something, avoid distractions and complicated tasks for a few minutes.
8. Create vivid, memorable images. You remember information more easily if you can visualize it. If you want to associate a child with a book, try not to visualize the child reading the book – that's too simple and forgettable. Instead, come up with something more jarring, something that sticks, like the book chasing the child, or the child eating the book. It's your mind – make the images as shocking and emotional as possible to keep the associations strong.
9. Repeat things you need to learn. The more times you hear, see, or think about something, the more surely you'll remember it, right? It's a no-brainer. When you want to remember something, be it your new coworker's name or your best friend's birthday, repeat it, either out loud or silently. Try writing it down; think about it.
10. Group things you need to remember. Random lists of things (a shopping list, for example) can be especially difficult to remember. To make it easier, try categorizing the individual things from the list. If you can remember that, among other things, you wanted to buy four different kinds of vegetables, you'll find it easier to remember all four.
11. Organize your life. Keep items that you frequently need, such as keys and eyeglasses, in the same place every time. Use an electronic organizer or daily planner to keep track of appointments, due dates for bills, and other tasks. Keep phone numbers and addresses in an address book or enter them into your computer or cell phone. Improved organization can help free up your powers of concentration so that you can remember less routine things. Even if being organized doesn't improve your memory, you'll receive a lot of the same benefits (i.e. you won't have to search for your keys anymore).
12. Try meditation. Research now suggests that people who regularly practice “mindfulness” meditation are able to focus better and may have better memories. Mindfulness (also known as awareness or insight meditation) is the type commonly practiced in Western countries and is easy to learn. Studies at Massachusetts General Hospital show that regular meditation thickens the cerebral cortex in the brain by increasing the blood flow to that region. Some researchers believe this can enhance attention span, focus, and memory.
13. Sleep well. The amount of sleep we get affects the brain's ability to recall recently learned information. Getting a good night's sleep – a minimum of seven hours a night – may improve your short-term memory and long-term relational memory, according to recent studies conducted at the Harvard Medical School.
14. Build your memorization arsenal. Learn pegs, memory palaces, and the Dominic System. These techniques form the foundation for mnemonic techniques, and will visibly improve your memory.
15. Venture out and learn from your mistakes. Go ahead and take a stab at memorizing the first one hundred digits of pi, or, if you've done that already, the first one thousand. Memorize the monarchs of England through your memory palaces, or your grocery list through visualization. Through diligent effort you will eventually master the art of memorization.
Do you Hate Someone? (Must Read)
A Nice story with a good moral. Please go through.
A kindergarten teacher has decided to let her class play a game.
The teacher told each child in the class to bring along a plastic bag containing a few potatoes.
Each potato will be given a name of a person that the child hates,
So the number of potatoes that a child will put in his/her plastic bag will depend on the number of people he/she hates.
So when the day came, every child brought some potatoes with the name of the people he/she hated. Some had 2 potatoes; some 3 while some up to 5 potatoes. The teacher then told the children to carry with them the potatoes in the plastic bag wherever they go (even to the toilet) for 1 week.
Days after days passed by, and the children started to complain due to the unpleasant smell let out by the rotten potatoes. Besides, those having 5 potatoes also had to carry heavier bags. After 1 week, the children were relieved because the game had finally ended....
The teacher asked: "How did you feel while carrying the potatoes with you for 1 week?". The children let out their frustrations and started complaining of the trouble that they had to go through having to carry the heavy and smelly potatoes wherever they go.
Then the teacher told them the hidden meaning behind the game. The teacher said: "This is exactly the situation when you carry your hatred for somebody inside your heart. The stench of hatred will contaminate your heart and you will carry it with you wherever you go. If you cannot tolerate the smell of rotten potatoes for just 1 week, can you imagine what is it like to have the stench of hatred in your heart for your lifetime???"
Moral of the story: Throw away any hatred for anyone from your heart so that you will not carry sins for a lifetime. Forgiving others is the best attitude to take!
True love is not loving a perfect person but loving an imperfect person perfectly!!

WASH THEM FIRST
This is Serious!
This incident happened recently in North Texas .
A woman went boating one Sunday taking with her some cans of coke
which she put into the refrigerator of the boat.
On Monday she was taken to the hospital and placed in the Intensive Care Unit.
She died on Wednesday.
The autopsy concluded she died of Leptospirosis.
This was traced to the can of coke she drank from, not using a glass.
Tests showed that the can was infected by dried rat urine and
hence the disease Leptospirosis.
Rat urine contains toxic and deathly substances.
It is highly recommended to thoroughly wash the upper part
of all soda cans before drinking out of them.
The cans are typically stocked in warehouses and transported straight to the shops without being cleaned.
A study at NYCU showed that the tops of all soda cans are more contaminated than public toilets (i.e.). full of germs and bacteria. So wash them with water before putting them to the mouth to avoid any kind of fatal accident.

Soft Drinks....Killing YOU Softly
Please read this. An interesting piece of information.......
Have a look at the wrapper on a Coca-Cola 1.5 liter bottle and in the
ingredients label you will find phosphoric acid in it. Minute
quantities of ethylene glycol are also used (which is acknowledged
in the soft drink world for making it really chill).
This is popularly known as anti-freeze which prevents water from
freezing at 0 deg C and instead drops it 4-5 degrees with minute
quantities. This chemical is a known slow poison in the caliber of arsenic.
So, if you manage to drink about 4 liters of Coke within an hour or
so, you can die.
Read along and give up these dangerous things.
Be natural; have flavored milks, tender coconuts, buttermilk, lassi and plain water instead of these "soft" drinks.
Guess what's the pH for soft drinks, e.g. Coke? PH 3.4!
This acidity is strong enough to dissolve teeth and bones!
Our human body stops building bones at the age of about 30. Softdrinks do not have any nutrition value (in terms of vitamins & minerals). It is high in sugar content, carbonic acid, chemicals i.e. colorings etc.
Some like to take cold soft drinks after each meal. Guess what's the
impact? Our body needs an optimum temperature of 37 degrees Celsius
for digestive enzyme functioning. The temperature of cold soft drinks is very much below 37 degrees or even close to 0 degrees Celsius. This will dilute the enzymes & stress the digestive system. The food taken will not be digested. In fact it will be fermented! The fermented food produces gases, decays and becomes toxin, gets absorbed by the intestine, circulates in the blood stream and is carried to the whole body. Hence toxin is cumulated in other parts of the body, developing into various diseases.
Think before you drink Coke/Pepsi (or any soft drink) again.
Have you ever thought what you drink when you drink an aerated drink?
You gulp down carbon dioxide, when nobody in the world would advise you to drink CO2. Two months back, there was a competition at Delhi
University "Who could drink the most Coke?" The winner drank 8 bottles and fainted on the spot-too much CO2 in the blood. Thereafter, the principal banned all soft drinks from the college canteen!
While this might have been an extreme measure, their results do
provide some food for thought. Did you know that soft drinks use chemicals in them that cause immense harm to you. Someone put a broken tooth in a
bottle of Pepsi and in 10 days it DISSOLVED! Can you believe it? Teeth and bones are the only human parts that stay intact for years after death. Imagine what the drink must be doing to your soft intestines and stomach lining!

Fix Top 5 Computer Problems, Quickly And Easily
Computers today are always getting better: they're faster and more reliable. That doesn't mean that problems don't show up.
It seems like the more user-friendly a system gets, the more likely it is to develop new problems. Thankfully, the ability to cope with everyday problems doesn't take a computer technician. All it takes is some resourcefulness and a little bit of know-how.
The following are five of the most common computer problems found on today's PCs. Use this guide as a way to fix errors and save yourself some major hassles. By conducting some routine maintenance, you can avoid future headaches and make your computer run better.
1. PC Slowdown
The Best way to combat PC slowdown is to take control of the many programs that are trying to run at once. When your computer loads, programs are set to start up automatically, whether you want them to or not. To see what programs are set to run on startup.
1. Open the start menu and click the button that says run. This will display the “Run Dialog.”
2. In this space, type the following: “msconfig” and press Enter.
3. This opens the system configuration dialog. Here you can see a series of Tabs:
4. Click on the tab that says “Startup”. Here you can see a list of all of the programs set to run when your computer boots. Beside each entry is a checkbox that you can select/deselect to specify whether that application should run or not.
5. When you've made your selection, click OK.
Your computer will ask to reboot and when it does, it will display a message telling you that you've changed startup configurations. Choosing which programs to de-activate doesn't have to be tricky. Remember that deactivating a startup entry doesn't uninstall or disable the program in any way; it just prevents it from loading automatically. You can always load program from the start menu when you want to use it.
2. Lockups and Freezeups
A computer locking up is almost always caused by one of two problems.
* One is that the available memory for your computer is being consumed. Cut down on running process in your PC by opening the task manager. To do this click “Ctrl+Shift+Esc” at the same time. On the applications tab, de-activate any programs that you're not currently using. Simply select it and click “End Task” to de-activate.
* The second cause of computer freeze is overheating. Check your computer tower itself. Is it in a closed space where air can circulate? Inside of your computer case are heat-sensitive materials, especially things like the processor and the video card. There's a fan system in place to move air constantly over these parts and to cycle in cooler air. If that system is down, your PC may overheat. Check to make sure the fans are running and that air can circulate around the system. Also check for excessive build-ups of dust.
3. Data Loss
The best way to prevent data loss is to back up your data. It's that simple. Moreoever, in today's world remote accessibility is rapidly becoming as important as the ability to have digital media in the first place. There are many free storage services online that you can use to protect data like photos, music and videos. Often these resources are available but people don't know about them. For example, anyone with a Windows Live account is granted a free 25 GB of storage space on the Windows Sky Drive. Users of Gmail are granted several free GB of storage space for documents inside Google Docs and those of you who want to keep photos safe have numerous outlets, including Google Picasa, PhotoBucket, Twitpic, Flicker and more.
4. Problems Logging onto the Web
Diagnosing connectivity problems can be touchy because a lot of systems have to work in order for you to get (and stay) online. In the end, it may be necessary to rely on your Internet Service Provider for advanced help with your particular connection settings. There are, however, a couple of things anyone can try…
1. Open the Control Panel and access the Network Settings dialog. In Windows XP, there should be an icon for this. In Vista / Win7; it'll be in the Network Sharing Center where you can click on “Change Adapter Settings.”
2. Once you're in the right dialog, it should say “Network Connections” at the top and there should be a list of connections.
Right click the one that's giving you trouble. Depending on which version of Windows you're operating you'll have different options. One thing you can always try is disabling and re-enabling that adapter.
1. Right click on the connection and choose “Disable”. This should make the connection “gray out.”
2. Then right click on that connection again and click “Enable.”
5. Keeping your system up to date
It seems like such a simple thing, but many people suffer errors, compatibility problems and even Web malfunctions simply because they haven't updated their software. Windows needs consistent updates to keep your system protected and up to speed with developments. To update Windows…
1. Open the Control Panel
2. In Windows XP Click on “Windows Update.” In Vista / Win7, you may have to click on “System and Security” first.
3. Now find and click the text labeled “check for updates.”
Some people are afraid of getting overwhelmed with updates; they can't tell what's important and what's not. The good thing is that Microsoft won't force updates on you. Instead it will categorized them by level of importance. It's a good idea to always get updates labeled as “important” or “critical.” Whether or not you use the others is up to you.
These five steps are certainly not the end all / be all for computer maintenance; but they are some of the best starting places. With an updated system, ready backups and controlled startup, you can find your whole computing experience to not only be more reliable but more satisfying. All it takes is a couple of minutes and some careful consideration.

Keeping Your Identity Safe
When using cash was the only method of exchanging currency, it was very limited. When you went to the grocery, cash was the only method the store accepted, and the internet didn't even exist then so paying for goods that were purchased online was not even a concern. Things have changed, however, and the way we exchange money has made some changes as well. We were introduced to checks and then to debit cards. Credit cards, which helps to establish a good credit history and personal FICO score, were introduced also. Both credit and debit cards can be used to make purchases on websites or over the phone.
With these added benefits, however, the risk of compromising your identity and the security of your information is greatly increased. Because you are inputting your personal information on websites, there is always the risk of someone intercepting the information you are providing and then using it for their personal gains. Identity theft has exploded in recent years and even though companies, banks, etc. will produce methods of keeping your identity as safe as possible, hackers are still able to obtain this information in creative ways.
Phishing is one such way and involves the act of sending you an email concerning an account of some sort. For example, a phishing email might warn you that someone has tried to access your account multiple times or tell you that your account will be locked if you don't update your information. When you click on the link provided in the email, you will be taken to a site that looks just like the site you access to do your online banking. You might notice, however, that the address on your browser's bar is not the address of your bank. The site will ask you for all of your personal information, and if you filled it out without knowing it was a phishing email, you have just given away your identity.
Many companies and sites now utilize e-statements, which are bill statements that are delivered to your email and are available when you access your online account. Although this service is great for paper usage reduction and getting your statements in a more timely manner, there are many people who receive their statements traditionally: through postal mail. When you no longer need these statements or any other personal documents that includes your address, full name, social security number, medical records, etc., make sure you shred the papers. Tearing the papers into fours will not help because anyone can piece them together. Think about investing in a paper shredder and throw away pieces of the same document in different trash receptacles or on different days.
As always, do not give any of your personal information to anybody no matter how much you trust them. There have been many identity theft victims who were shocked to find out that their beloved best friend, favorite aunt, brother or sister, and even mother or father was the perpetrator behind the fraudulent activity on their account. Prevent your identity from being stolen.

4 Foods to Help You Look Years Younger
A good face cream can work wonders, but it's equally important to nourish your skin from the inside out. Below, I present four delicious foods packed with essential nutrients to keep your skin looking radiant and fresh!
1. Sweet Potato Fries
Sweet potatoes are a dynamite source of beta-carotene (their bright orange color is a dead giveaway). Your body converts beta-carotene to vitamin A, a nutrient that helps to continually generate new, healthy skin cells.
I like to turn sweet potatoes into crispy oven-baked French fries. Cut peeled potatoes into ¼-inch strips and spread them in a single layer on a baking sheet coated with oil spray. Mist the fries with oil spray and season with salt, black pepper, or any other seasonings (ground cinnamon, curry powder, and chili powder are all fun options). Bake in a 400 degree oven for 20 minutes, flipping the fries halfway through. I finish my fries under the broiler for 5 minutes to get them extra crispy!
2. Balsamic Carrots
Like sweet potatoes, carrots come equipped with a generous supply of beta-carotene. In addition to its pivotal role in skin cell renewal, beta-carotene acts as a potent antioxidant, sopping up damaging free radicals that accelerate skin aging.
Fend off wrinkles with my recipe for Roasted Balsamic Carrots. Cut 1 pound of peeled carrots into 1/2-inch wedges. Spread the carrots over half of a large sheet of aluminum foil, and sprinkle them with ¼ cup balsamic vinegar, 2 tablespoons minced fresh rosemary, 2 cloves minced garlic, ¼ teaspoon paprika, salt, and pepper. Drizzle the carrots with 1 tablespoon olive oil and fold the foil over to create a tightly sealed packet. Place on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated 400 degree oven for 25 minutes or until the carrots are tender.
3. Spinach Marinara
Spinach delivers a triple of dose of wrinkle-fighting antioxidants: vitamin C, vitamin E, and beta-carotene. All three work in concert to protect your skin from the sun's UV rays so it stays vibrant and healthy.
Make a quick spinach marinara sauce by wilting fresh spinach leaves into a pot of simmering tomato sauce, then serve over pasta or grilled chicken cutlets.
4. Toasted Pecans
Pecans are one of a short list of foods rich in Vitamin E, a nutrient that's vital to skin health. By forming a protective barrier in the cell membranes of your skin, the vitamin E in pecans helps to ward off harmful free radicals and therefore helps to keep skin firm and elastic.
Pecans are delicious on their own, but toasting them makes them incredibly buttery and rich...they're like candy! Spread pecans on an ungreased baking sheet and toast them in a preheated 350 degree oven (or a toaster oven) for about 10 minutes (watch them closely to make sure they don't burn). Enjoy them whole as a scrumptious snack, or chop them up and sprinkle them into oatmeal or low-fat yogurt.

How to Start a Conversation with new People
1. Start with a "hello," and simply tell the new person your name then ask them theirs. Offer your hand to shake, upon his/her responding to you. (If you go to other countries, greet the person in tune with the particular culture). If you already know the person, skip this step and proceed to step.
2. Look around. See if there is anything worth pointing out. Sure, talking about the weather is a cliche, but if there's something unusual about it "bam!" you've got a great topic of conversation.
3. Offer a compliment. Don't lie and say you love someone's hair when you think it's revolting, but if you like his or her shoes, or a handbag, say so. A sincere compliment is a wonderful way to get someone to warm up to you. But be careful not to say something so personal that you scare the person off or make him or her feel uncomfortable. It is best not to compliment a person's looks or body.
4. Ask questions! Most people love to talk about themselves; get them going. "What classes are you taking this year?" "Have you seen (Insert-Something- Here)? What did you think of it?" Again, keep the questions light and not invasive. Do not ask too many questions if he or she is not responsive to them.
5. Jump on any conversation- starters he or she might offer; take something he or she has said and run with it. Agree, disagree, ask a question about it, or offer an opinion, just don't let it go by without notice.
6. Look your new found friend in the eye, it engenders trust (but don't stare). Also, use the person's name a time or two during the conversation; it will help you remember the name, and will draw the person's attention to what you are talking about.
7. Don't forget to smile and have fun with your conversation!
Tips
* Just relax. Chances are that whatever small-talk you're making isn't going to stick out in anyone's mind a few months from now. Just say whatever comes into your head, so long as it's not offensive or really weird. (Unless, of course, the person you're attempting to converse with is into weird stuff.)
* Remember, if you think of something in your head while you're talking, it's probably related.
* It will help if you watch some TV, listen to radio shows, and/or read a lot newspapers, magazines, and/or books. You need to have some idea of what is going on in the world. Also remember and plan to share anything you like, think is funny, or find intriguing. This is building up your own library of things that might be helpful to another person during a conversation someday. It will be amazing how you thread these interesting things when you least expect it, and make conversation an adventure instead of a dreadful task. If you take it to the next step and say things that you want the person to think of as adding value, and keep to yourself things that the person might not, you are actually honing your own personality to be appealing to the other person, and what is a greater act of kindness than that.
* If you are shy, it will be helpful to have thought about a topic or two that you could talk about.
* Follow the lead that your listener is expressing. If he or she appears interested, then continue. If he or she is looking at a clock or watch, or worse, looking for an escape strategy, then you have been going on for too long.
* Interesting and funny quotes or facts can lighten things up, and make way for things to talk about. You could also use a set of conversation starter question cards for inspiration.
* If talking over the phone, keep the person involved in the conversation at all costs. If you can't come up with a good topic, try the "questions" game. Just keep asking them questions; random questions work just fine as long as they are appropriate. This technique can save a phone conversation. The questions should be open ended questions that do not require a yes or no answer. For example "How do you know the hosts?"This way you can ask questions about what they just said or follow up with how you know the hosts (for example) instead of acting as if the conversation is an interrogation.
* Half of an effective conversation is the way you non-verbally communicate, and not necessarily what you say. Practice better non-verbal skills that are friendly and confident.
* Read newspapers and magazines to increase your knowledge so you can have more interesting things to talk about

* Read newspapers and magazines to increase your knowledge so you can have more interesting things to talk about
Before you Complain
Today before you say an unkind word -
Think of someone who can't speak.
Before you complain about the taste of your food -
Think of someone who has nothing to eat.
Before you complain about your husband or wife -
Think of someone who's crying out to GOD for a companion.
Today before you complain about life -
Think of someone who went too early to heaven.
Before you complain about your children -
Think of someone who desires children but they're barren.
Before you argue about your dirty house
someone didn't clean or sweep -
Think of the people who are living in the streets.
Before whining about the distance you drive
Think of someone who walks the
same distance with their feet.
And when you are tired and complain about your job.
Think of the unemployed, the disabled,
and those who wish they had your job.
But before you think of pointing the finger or condemning another -
Remember that not one of us is without
sin and we all answer to one MAKER.
And when depressing thoughts seem to get you down -
Put a smile on your face and thank
GOD you're alive and still around.

To add to your body of body knowledge:
Dr. Virend Somers, a cardiologist from the Mayo Clinic who is lead author of the report in the July 29, 2008 issue of the Journal of the American College of Cardiology .
Most heart attacks occur in the day, generally between 6 A.M. and noon, Somers said. Having one during the night, when the heart should be most at rest, means that something unusual happened. Somers and his colleagues have been working for a decade to show that sleep apnea is to blame.
1. If you take an aspirin or a baby aspirin once a day, take it at night. The reason: aspirin has a 24-hour "half-life". therefore, if most heart attacks happen in the wee hours of the morning, the aspirin would be strongest in your system.
2. FYI, aspirin lasts a really long time in your medicine chest....... .......years.
(when it gets old, it smells like vinegar.)
Please read on.
Something that we can do to help ourselves.. Nice to know.
Bayer is making crystal aspirin to dissolve instantly on the tongue. They work much faster than the tablets.
Why keep aspirin by your bedside?
About Heart Attacks - There are other symptoms of an heart attack besides the pain on the left arm.
One must also be aware of an intense pain on the chin, as well as nausea and lots of sweating, however these symptoms may also occur less frequently.
Note: There may be NO pain in the chest during a heart attack.
The majority of people (about 60%) who had a heart attack during their sleep, did not wake up. However, if it occurs, the chest pain may wake you up from your deep sleep.
If that happens, immediately dissolve two aspirins in your mouth and swallow them with a bit of water.
Phone a neighbor or a family member who lives very close by
-say"heart attack!"
-say that you have taken 2 aspirins.
- take a seat on a chair or sofa near the front door, and wait for their arrival and...
~DO NOT lie down~

TIPS TO BE A BETTER MOM
It goes without saying that mothers have an important role to play in their children's lives. Here are a few tips on how you can be a better parent to your child:
Respect and value your child:
Always respect your children -- respect and listen to their views and values, their opinions. Give them your complete attention when they want to talk to you. Put whatever activity you are engaged in on hold, and if that's not possible, set a time for when you can chat, and make sure to stick to it.
Encourage your children every opportunity you get. Make them feel special and express your love for them often. Hug them, kiss them and say 'I love you' everyday, not just when they are young but also as they grow older. Let them feel your love and affection as often as you can.
Talk to your kids:
Conversing with children is the best way to influence their ability and love for learning. Children who are spoken to often as infants will understand more words when they are toddlers and pre-schoolers than others. Communication also strengthens the mother-child bond and eases out the communication barriers, even as kids grow older.
Have fun with them:
Mothers are so busy with their day-to-day routines that they forget to have fun with their children. Take out one-on-one time to enjoy with your child. Do something that both of you like -- indulge in outdoor games, art and craft, board games, go for a walk, chat, cook -- do anything at all that makes you feel good. Laugh together, tickle each other, dance, sing songs, just have FUN!
Read to your little ones:
Reading to your children is the best way to inculcate a reading habit in them, which leads to a love of learning as they grow older. Reading also creates an emotional bond between parent and the child, whether it's lap-time reading, bedtime reading or any other way of doing it that you both enjoy. Moreover, it develops their imagination, creativity, vocabulary and communication skills.
Keep your children safe:
All parents want to keep their kids safe. Remember to take the necessary precautions, whether it is making them sit in the backseat of the car while driving, or making sure that there is someone responsible with them at all times. Make sure your home is childproof, with electrical outlets out of reach, furniture edges rounded off, glass items out of the way etc.
Teach your children values:
Make sure to impart good values to your kids -- it's the best gift you'll ever give them. Values are the foundation of a child's character. Teach your children values through everyday interactions, stories and by the way you conduct yourself. While story-telling, however, make sure you don't connect the story to the child. If, for example, you want to teach your little one about honesty, tell him/ her interesting stories related to it. Do not say, "You should behave in the same manner as so-and-so did and always tell the truth" -- the message will not sink in. To a youngster, this feels like nagging and moralizing, which will go in one ear and out the other.
Be a good role model:
Remember that your kids are watching you all the time and want to ape you in every possible way. Even very young children take in and listen to everything their parents say and do, so remain aware of your actions and behavior around them. For example, if you talk rudely to the domestic help, you will not be very successful in teaching your children the value of politeness. Model the behavior that you want them to develop.
Keep your kids healthy, but allow them their personal likes and dislikes when it comes to food:
Provide nutritious meals for your children, but allow them to make their own choices about what they like or don't like. As long as you are providing them with nutritious options and not junk food, they will almost always make the right choices. With young children, try and be creative with their meals, so that it's fun for them. If, for instance, there is cooked vegetable and chapattis for dinner, fold some cooked veggies into each chapatti so that the kids can enjoy it as a roll.
Set rules and limits:
A good mother is firm and flexible. Don't leave discipline only to a child's father. Set reasonable rules and limits and discuss them with your kids beforehand. Follow through with the consequences whenever applicable. However, there are times when you have to be flexible and ease the rules; times when youngsters are tired, sleepy, hungry or not well.
Be just and fair:
Treat all your children in the same manner. However, don't try to be overly fair, as it will get in the way -- for example, if you are out shopping and spot a book that one of your kids needs for a reference project, you do not necessarily have to buy something for the other child. Similarly, bring the other child what he/ she requires when it's needed. As long as you are providing for both of them equally, they will understand and not make an issue. When you try to be overly fair, children tend to find faults with every little thing you do.
Don't interfere in your children's fights unless it's necessary:
Allow your kids to settle issues on their own. As long as there is no bullying or physical violence, do not get involved in their fights. When you try to resolve their disputes, you will be required to take sides and this will not go down well with one of them. It is better to allow children to handle their own problems as far as possible. If they are not able to do it, or you feel like the situation is getting to you, ask them to play separately till they are able to be civil to each other and find a solution. You will be doing them a favor by teaching them the values of co-operation, problem-solving and compromise in the process.
Honor their father:
One of the best things a mother can do is Honor her children's father in front of them. Even if you are separated or divorced, never speak ill about your spouse in front of your children. Talk about him with respect and teach your children to respect him too.
Get the kids to interact with extended family:
Get your children to bond with extended family -- uncles, aunts, cousins. Make an effort so that they interact with both the maternal and paternal sides. Even if you don't get along with your in-laws, teach your children to respect their grandparents. They will hold you in higher esteem for doing that.
Keep your self-respect intact:
Always expect to be treated with respect by others in the presence of your kids and by your kids themselves. Do not allow anyone to cross a line. Maintain your dignity under all circumstances; be honest and keep your integrity intact always.
Take care of yourself:
Sleep well and take out time for yourself. Keep yourself in good health. Remember, a happy, relaxed mother can give more of herself to her children and family than an overworked, tense parent.

30 REAL FEELINGS OF GIRLS
30 real feelings of girls
1. When a girl says she's sad, but she isn't crying, it means she's crying in her heart.

Power of Silence
Have you ever experienced a moment in your life? When you just ran out of words and you go...
SILENCE???
Let me assist you in recalling...
The moment when you left your home for the first Time and you look Back at your parents who are worried that their Son/daughter are Leaving them yet happy that their child took the First step towards Independence.
The moment when the girl/boy you like most. Smiled back at you! You don't say anything. You just smile back.
The moment when you get better marks than you Expected... those "Numb" moments of ecstasy n surprise "is that
True?"...
The moment when you are parting With your old friend(s) and the Train has just started... and you are standing on
The door of the Wagon. Waving "bye-bye" with your heart beating Fast... he moment after the HR manager has just called You and told You, You are through! Congrats!"
... The moment when you sit alone in your room after Having told Everyone that you cleared that exam you prepared
For 6 months!! You can go on remembering your "special" moments!
I had always wondered why I never said anything To myself at those Moments. As if it was "understood"... happiness, Joy, pain. All Feelings just flowed ceaselessly in the 'years' That passed in those Flash moments!
They say. The best way to communicate is through "Silence". Love. Joy. Grief. Surprise. Anger. Hope. Expectations. Support. Non-cooperation. .

The Piller of Life
This is story of two Lovers, who finally got married, The girl was very sentimental and the guy was romantic, but on the walk of life, problems, clashes, profession came into their life. She yearn for romantic moments, time makes her husband different; his lack of sensitivity, and the inability of bringing romantic moments into their marriage has disheartened her about LOVE.
One day, she finally decided that "I wanted a divorce". "Why?" he asked.
"I am tired." she answered.
He kept silent the whole night, seemingly in deep thought. Finally he asked "What can I do to change your mind?"
Looking into his eyes she said "Answer my question. If you can convince my heart, I will change my mind.
Let's say, I want a flower located on the face of a mountain cliff, we both are sure that picking the flower will cause your death. Will you do it for me?"
He said: " I will give you your answer tomorrow...."
She woke up the morning, find him gone, and saw a piece of paper on my bed, which goes....
My dear, "I would not pick that flower for you, the reasons are.....
"When you use the computer you always mess up the Software, and you cry in front of the screen. I have to save my fingers so that I can help to restore the programs.
You always leave the house keys behind, thus I have to save my legs to rush home to open the door for you.
You love traveling but always lose your way in a new city. I have to save my eyes to show you the way.
You like to stay indoors, and I worry that you will be infected by infantile autism. I have to save my mouth to tell you jokes and stories to cure your boredom.
You always stare at the computer, and that will do nothing good for your eyes. I have to save my eyes so that when we grow old, I can help to clip your nails and help to remove those annoying white hairs. So I can also hold your hand while strolling down the beach, as you enjoy the sunshine and the beautiful sand...and tell you the colour of flowers, just like the colour of the glow on your young face...
Thus, my dear, unless I am sure that there is someone who loves you more than I do... I could not pick that flower yet, and die ... "
Her tears fell on the letter, and blurred the ink of his handwriting... And as she continue on reading... "Now, that you have finished reading my answer, and if you are satisfied, please open the front door for I am standing outside bringing your favorite bread and fresh milk...
She rushed to pull open the door, and saw his anxious face, clutching tightly with his hands, the milk bottle and loaf of bread....Now she is very sure that no one will ever love her as much as he does, and she have decided to leave the flower alone...
That's LIFE, and LOVE. When one is surrounded by love, the feeling of excitement fades away, and one tends to ignore the true love that lies in between the peace and dullness.
Love shows up in all forms; even in very small and cheeky forms. It has never been a model. It could be the dullest and most boring form...
Flowers, and romantic moments are only used and appear on the surface of the relationship. Under all this, the pillar of true love stands.
One day, she finally decided that "I wanted a divorce". "Why?" he asked.

Triple Filter Test
One day an acquaintance came to meet Chanakya and said to him excitedly ," do you know what I just heard about your friend ?"
" Just wait a while", Chanakya replied." Before you tell me anything I would like you to go through a little test which I call the triple filter test".
" What’s that?" asked the acquaintance.
" I will tell you", Chanakya said." Before you talk to me about my friend, it might be a good idea to take a moment and filter what you are going to say. That is why I call it the Triple filter test. The first filter is ‘Truth.’ Are you sure that what you are about to tell me is true?"
"No", the man said." Actually, I just heard about it."
"All right", said Chanakya." So you don’t really know if it is true or not. Now lets us try the second Filter, the filter of ‘Goodness’. Is what you are about to tell me about my friend something good?"
"No, on the contrary.."
"So", Chanakya continued," You wanted to tell me something bad about him but you are not certain it is true. You may still pass the test because there is one filter left; the filter of ‘Usefulness’. Is what you want to tell me about my friend going to be useful to me?"
"No, not really..."
" Well", Continued Chanakya," If you want to tell me what may not be true and is neither good nor useful, why tell it to me at all?"

A Nice Story About LOVE!
I once had a friend who grew to be very close to me.
Once when we were sitting at the edge of a swimming pool, she filled the
palm of her hand with some water and held it before me, and said this: "You
see this water carefully contained on my hand? It symbolizes Love."
This was how I saw it: As long as you keep your hand caringly open and allow
it to remain there, it will always be there. However, if you attempt to
close your fingers round it and try to posses it, it will spill through the
first cracks it finds
This is the greatest mistake that people do when they meet love...they try
to posses it, they demand, they expect... and just like the water spilling
out of your hand, love will retrieve from you .
For love is meant to be free, you cannot change its nature. If there are
people you love, allow them to be free beings.
Give and don't expect.
Advise, but don't order.
Ask, but never demand.
It might sound simple, but it is a lesson that may take a lifetime to truly
practice. It is the secret to true love. To truly practice it, you must
sincerely feel no expectations from those who you love, and yet an
unconditional caring."
Passing thought... Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take;
but by the moments that take our breath away.....
Life is beautiful, Live it!!!!

Those 3 words.
There are many things that you can do to strengthen your relationships.
Often the most effective thing you can do involves saying just three words.
When spoken sincerely, these statements often have the power to develop new
friendships, deepen old ones and even bring healing to relationships that
have sourerd.
The following three-word phrases can be tools to help develop every
relationship.
1. Let me help
Good friends see a need and then try to fill it. When they see a hurt they
do what they can to heal it. Without being asked, they jump in and help out.
2. I understand you.
People become closer and enjoy each other more when the other person accepts
and understands them. Letting your spouse know - in so many little ways -
that you understand them, is one of the most powerful tools for healing your
relationship. And this can apply to any relationship.
3. I respect you
Respect is another way of showing love. Respect demonstrates that another
person is a true equal. If you talk to your children as if they were adults
you will strengthen the bonds and become closer friends. This applies to
all interpersonal relationships.
4. I miss you.
Perhaps more marriages could be saved and strengthened if couples simply and
sincerely said to each other "I miss you." This powerful affirmation tells
partners they are wanted, needed, desired and loved. Consider how important
you would feel, if you received an unexpected phone call from your spouse in
the middle of your workday, just to say "I miss you."
5. Maybe you're right.
This phrase is very effective in diffusing an argument. The implication
when you say "maybe you're right" is the humility of admitting, "maybe I'm
wrong". Let's face it. When you have an argument with someone, all you
normally do is solidify the other person's point of view. They, or you, will
not likely change their position and you run the risk of seriously damaging
the relationship between you. Saying "maybe you're right" can open the door
to explore the subject more. You may then have the opportunity to express
your view in a way that is understandable to the other person.
6. Please forgive me
Many broken relationships could be restored and healed if people would admit
their mistakes and ask for forgiveness. All of us are vulnerable to faults,
foibles and failures. A man should never be ashamed to own up that he has
been in the wrong, which is saying, in other words, that he is wiser today
than he was yesterday.
7. I thank you.
Gratitude is an exquisite form of courtesy. People who enjoy the
companionship of good, close friends are those who don't take daily
courtesies for granted. They are quick to thank their friends for their many
expressions of kindness. On the other hand, people whose circle of friends
is severely constricted often do not have the attitude of gratitude.
8. Count on me
A friend is one who walks in when others walk out. Loyalty is an essential
ingredient for true friendship. It is the emotional glue that bonds people.
Those that are rich in their relationships tend to be steady and true
friends. When troubles come, a good friend is there indicating "you can
count on me."
9. I'll be there
If you have ever had to call a friend in the middle of the night, to take a
sick child to hospital, or when your car has broken down some miles from
home, you will know how good it feels to hear the phrase "I'll be there."
Being there for another person is the greatest gift we can give. When we are
truly present for other people, important things happen to them and us. We
are renewed in love and friendship. We are restored emotionally and
spiritually. Being there is at the very core of civility.
10. Go for it
We are all unique individuals. Don't try to get your friends to conform to
your ideals. Support them in pursuing their interests, no matter how far
out they seem to you. God has given everyone dreams, dreams that are unique
to that person only. Support and encourage your friends to follow their
dreams. Tell them to "go for it."
B o n u s : 11. I love you
Perhaps the most important three words that you can say. Telling someone
that you truly love them satisfies a person's deepest emotional needs. The
need to belong, to feel appreciated and to be wanted. Your spouse, your
children, your friends and you, all need to hear those three little words:
"I love you." Love is a choice. You can love even when the feeling is
gone.
Often the most effective thing you can do involves saying just three words.
When spoken sincerely, these statements often have the power to develop new
friendships, deepen old ones and even bring healing to relationships that

10. Go for it
We are all unique individuals.
You can love even when the feeling is
gone.
The Power of the Words
A group of frogs were travelling through the woods. By misfortune, two of them fell in a deep pit. All the other frogs gathered around the pit. When they saw how deep the pit was, they called out to the frogs that they were good as dead.
The two frogs ignored the comments and tried to jump out of the pit with all their might. The other frogs kept telling them to stop, that they will never be able to succeed in their efforts. Finally , one of the frogs took heed of what the other frogs were saying and gave up. He soon dropped dead. The other frog continued to jump as hard as he could. Once again, the crowd of frogs yelled at him to stop the pain and just die. But the frog kept trying, jumping even harder and finally made it out of the well.
When he got out, the other frogs said, “ did you not hear us?” the frog explained to them that he was deaf. He thought they were actually encouraging him all the time

A Lovely Lesson For Life
A student asks a teacher: What is love?
The teacher said: in order to answer your question, go to the paddy
field and choose the biggest paddy and come back.
But the rule is: you can go through them only once and cannot turn back
to pick.
The student went to the field, go thru first row, he saw one big paddy,
but he wonders....may be there is a bigger one later. Then he saw
another bigger one... but may be there is an even bigger one waiting
for him.
Later, when he finished more than half of the paddy field, he start to
realize that the paddy is not as big as the previous one he saw, he
know he has missed the biggest one, and he regretted. So, he ended up went back to the teacher with empty hand.
The teacher told him, this is love... you keep looking for a better
one, but when later you realize, you have already miss the person
The student asked: What is marriage then?
The teacher said: In order to answer your question, go to the corn
field and choose the biggest corn and come back.
But the rule is: you can go through them only once and cannot turn back
to pick.
The student went to the corn field, this time he is careful not to
repeat the previous mistake, when he reach the middle of the field, he
has picked one medium corn that he feel satisfied, and came back to the
teacher.
The teacher told him, this time you bring back a corn.... you look for
one that is just nice, and you have faith and believe this is the best
one you get.... this is marriage
Be courteous to all , but intimate with few , and let those few be well
tried before you give them your confidence.

Lesson of Life
There was a man who had four sons. He wanted his sons to learn not to judge things too quickly. So he sent them each on a quest, in turn, to go and look at a pear tree that was a great distance away.
The first son went in the winter, the second in the spring, the third in summer, and the youngest son in the fall. When they had all gone and come back, he called them together to describe what they had seen. The first son said that the tree was ugly, bent, and twisted. The second son said no it was covered with green buds and full of promise. The third son disagreed; he said it was laden with blossoms that smelled so sweet and looked so beautiful, it was the most graceful thing he had ever seen. The last son disagreed with all of them; he said it was ripe and drooping with fruit, full of life and fulfillment.
The man then explained to his sons that they were all right, because they had each seen but only one season in the tree's life. He told them that you cannot judge a tree, or a person, by only one season, and that the essence of who they are and the pleasure, joy, and love that come from that life can only be measured at the end, when all the seasons are up.If you give up when it's winter, you will miss the promise of your spring, the beauty of your summer, fulfillment of your fall.
Moral:Don't let the pain of one season destroy the joy of all the rest. Don't judge life by one difficult season. Persevere through the difficult patches and better times are sure to come some time or later.

THATS LIFE
God created the donkey and said to him. "You will be a donkey. You will work un-tiringly from sunrise to sunset carrying burdens on your back. You will eat grass, you will have no intelligence and you will live 50 years."
The donkey answered: "I will be a donkey, but to live 50years is much. Give me only 20years"
God granted his wish.
God created the dog and said to him: "You will guard the house of man. You will be his best Friend. You will eat the scraps that he gives you and you will live 30 years. You will be a dog. "
The dog answered: "Sir, to live 30years is too much, give me only15 years." God granted his wish.
God created the monkey and said to him: "You will be a monkey. You will swing from branch to branch doing tricks. You will be amusing and you will live 20 years."
The monkey answered: "To live 20 years is too much, give me only 10 years."
God granted his wish.
Finally God created man...and said to him: "You will be man, the only rational creature on the face of the earth. You will use your intelligence to become master over all the animals. You will dominate the world and you will live 20 years."
Man responded:
"Sir, I will be a man but to live only 20 years is very little, give me the 30years that the donkey refused, the 15years that the dog did not want and the 10years the monkey refused."
God granted man's wish...
And since then, man lives 20 years as a man, marries and spends 30 years like a donkey, working and carrying all the burdens on his back. Then when his children are grown, he lives 15 years like a dog taking care of the house and eating whatever is given to him, so that when he is old, he can retire and live 10years like a monkey, going from house to house and from one son or daughter to another doing tricks to amuse his grandchildren.

Be Safe - Microwaved Water
Micro waved water - a MUST read
A 26-year old decided to have a cup of coffee. He took a cup of water and put it in the microwave to heat it up (something that he had done numerous times before). I am not sure how long he set the timer for, but he told me he wanted to bring the water to a boil. When the timer shut the oven off, he removed the cup from the oven. As he looked into the cup, he noted that the water was not boiling, but instantly the water in the cup 'blew up' into his face. The cup remained intact until he threw it out of his hand but all the water had flown out into his face due to the build up of energy. His whole face is blistered and he has 1st and 2nd degree burns to his face, which may leave scarring. He also may have lost partial sight in his left eye. While at the hospital, the doctor who was attending to him stated that this is fairly common occurrence and water (alone) should never be heated in a microwave oven. If water is heated in this manner, something should be placed in the cup to diffuse the energy such as: a wooden stir stick, tea bag, etc. It is however a much safer choice to boil the water in a teakettle.
General Electric's (GE) response:
Thanks for contacting us. I will be happy to assist you. The e-mail that you received is correct. Microwaved water and other liquids do not always bubble when they reach the boiling point. They can actually get superheated and not bubble at all. The superheated liquid will bubble up out of the cup when it is moved or when something like a spoon or tea bag is put into it. To prevent this from happening and causing injury, do not heat any liquid for more than two minutes per cup. After heating, let the cup stand in the microwave for thirty seconds before moving it or adding anything into it.
If you pass this on ..... you could very well save someone from a lot of pain and suffering.

Do you or your loved ones suffer from severe headaches?
The nose has a left and a right side we use both to inhale and exhale.
Actually they are different you would be able to feel the difference. The right side represents the sun, left side represents the moon. During a headache try to close your right nose and use your left nose to breathe.
In about 5 minutes your headache will go.
If you feel tired just reverse close your left nose and breathe through your right nose. After a while you will feel your mind is refreshed.
Right side belongs to 'hot' so it gets heated up easily left side belongs to 'cold'.
Most females breathe with their left noses so they get "cooled off" faster.
Most of the guys breathe with their right noses they get worked up.
Do you notice the moment we wake up which side breathes faster? Left or right? ?
If left is faster you will feel tired.
So close your left nose and use your right nose for breathing you will get refreshed quickly.
This can be taught to kids but it is more effective when practiced by adults.
My friend used to have bad headaches and was always visiting the doctor.
There was this period when he suffered headaches literally every night & unable to study.
He took pain killers but they did not work.
He decided to try out the breathing therapy here: closed his right nose and breathed through his left nose.
In less than a week his headaches were gone! He continued the exercise for one month.
This alternative natural therapy without medication is something that he has experienced.
So why not give it a try?
