If you answered four out of four questions correctly, you are a true professional. Wealth and success await you.

If you answered three out of four, you have some catching up to do but there's hope for you.

If you answered two out of four, consider a career as a hamburger flipper in a fast food joint.

If you answered one out of four, try selling some of your organs. It's the only way you will ever make any money.

If you answered none correctly, consider a career that does not require any higher mental functions at all, such as politics.

KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON

Everyday, each waking hour upon opening your eyes, what is the first thing that comes to your mind? What is the first thing that you tend to do? Does it come to your mind immediately how you're going to spend your day? I'll surely get different responses with these questions as we all have different mind sets.

As for me, my day unfolds slowly. I am not always sure what is in store for me every time I start my day. I'm not much of a very organized person in terms of schedule. My motto has always been to live each day as it is. Work, eat, sleep and be merry for tomorrow is always another day. Each day is different from yesterday.

Each day is an adventure. We'll meet new people, we'll encounter new situations, we will experience something new. Our ability to respond to these new things will reveal how our day goes. And most importantly, our character plays a very big part in dealing with these unexpected events that may happen during the day.

When I encounter a situation that I am unable to handle, who do you think I turn to? I may not be a very religious person but I'll tell you that I immediately look up above to the One out there. I talk to God and listen to Him because I believe that by His faith and guidance, He will let me come out of the situation as a victor. The peacefulness that I feel in His presence guides my heart and helps me to decide on the right thing to do.

I consider trials as my teachers and guides because trials are the reason that makes me strong and steadfast, as well as the love manifested to me by the people close to my heart. Trials makes me more patient and understanding. They also help me to persevere more into improving myself and my life.

Sometimes when I feel depressed, I try to encourage myself not to lose hope. I need to understand that there is a purpose for trials. I always tell myself that He would not give us something that we could not endure. During these times, I just close my eyes and feel His peace that is beyond one's understanding and whenever I do that, I feel revitalized and strong once again.

My unwavering faith in the Lord inspires my heart to carry on and accept challenges as they come to my life. Like in the story of The Footprints in the Sand, I know that the Lord always carried me during those times that I could no longer walk and stand up with all the problems and the burdens I was carrying on my shoulder.

Yes, I did think of doing the unthinkable. I tried to make a fool out of myself. When I was down and I thought that all my efforts in making life better were just wasted, I have thought that death was the only release from my never ending dilemmas. But He always pulled me out from the deep pit of darkness.

As I've said, I am not a very religious person, nor I am a devout Catholic but I can say that I am close to God. He helps me to keep calm and collected in times of adversities and He has always shown His love and guidance to me. I may be down, but with Him I have nowhere to go but up.

When all else fails, when everything is vanished, GOD REMAINS. He will never leave us, nor forsake us. The Lord moves in mysterious ways His wonders to perform. From time to time, we need to sit quietly, or take a walk, allow our spirits to roam...God's love will find us.

"Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me."
-John 14:1
