A Lovely Lesson For Life

A student asks a teacher: What is love?
The teacher said: in order to answer your question, go to the paddy
field and choose the biggest paddy and come back.
But the rule is: you can go through them only once and cannot turn back
to pick.

The student went to the field, go thru first row, he saw one big paddy,
but he wonders....may be there is a bigger one later. Then he saw
another bigger one... but may be there is an even bigger one waiting
for him.

Later, when he finished more than half of the paddy field, he start to
realize that the paddy is not as big as the previous one he saw, he
know he has missed the biggest one, and he regretted. So, he ended up went back to the teacher with empty hand.

The teacher told him, this is love... you keep looking for a better
one, but when later you realize, you have already miss the person
The student asked: What is marriage then?
The teacher said: In order to answer your question, go to the corn
field and choose the biggest corn and come back.
But the rule is: you can go through them only once and cannot turn back
to pick.

The student went to the corn field, this time he is careful not to
repeat the previous mistake, when he reach the middle of the field, he
has picked one medium corn that he feel satisfied, and came back to the
teacher.

The teacher told him, this time you bring back a corn.... you look for
one that is just nice, and you have faith and believe this is the best
one you get.... this is marriage

Be courteous to all , but intimate with few , and let those few be well
tried before you give them your confidence.

Lesson of Life

There was a man who had four sons. He wanted his sons to learn not to judge things too quickly. So he sent them each on a quest, in turn, to go and look at a pear tree that was a great distance away.

The first son went in the winter, the second in the spring, the third in summer, and the youngest son in the fall. When they had all gone and come back, he called them together to describe what they had seen. The first son said that the tree was ugly, bent, and twisted. The second son said no it was covered with green buds and full of promise. The third son disagreed; he said it was laden with blossoms that smelled so sweet and looked so beautiful, it was the most graceful thing he had ever seen. The last son disagreed with all of them; he said it was ripe and drooping with fruit, full of life and fulfillment.

The man then explained to his sons that they were all right, because they had each seen but only one season in the tree's life. He told them that you cannot judge a tree, or a person, by only one season, and that the essence of who they are and the pleasure, joy, and love that come from that life can only be measured at the end, when all the seasons are up.If you give up when it's winter, you will miss the promise of your spring, the beauty of your summer, fulfillment of your fall.

Moral:Don't let the pain of one season destroy the joy of all the rest. Don't judge life by one difficult season. Persevere through the difficult patches and better times are sure to come some time or later.

THATS LIFE

God created the donkey and said to him. "You will be a donkey. You will work un-tiringly from sunrise to sunset carrying burdens on your back. You will eat grass, you will have no intelligence and you will live 50 years."

The donkey answered: "I will be a donkey, but to live 50years is much. Give me only 20years"
God granted his wish.

God created the dog and said to him: "You will guard the house of man. You will be his best Friend. You will eat the scraps that he gives you and you will live 30 years. You will be a dog. "

The dog answered: "Sir, to live 30years is too much, give me only15 years." God granted his wish.

God created the monkey and said to him: "You will be a monkey. You will swing from branch to branch doing tricks. You will be amusing and you will live 20 years."

The monkey answered: "To live 20 years is too much, give me only 10 years."
God granted his wish.

Finally God created man...and said to him: "You will be man, the only rational creature on the face of the earth. You will use your intelligence to become master over all the animals. You will dominate the world and you will live 20 years."

Man responded:
"Sir, I will be a man but to live only 20 years is very little, give me the 30years that the donkey refused, the 15years that the dog did not want and the 10years the monkey refused."

God granted man's wish...

And since then, man lives 20 years as a man, marries and spends 30 years like a donkey, working and carrying all the burdens on his back. Then when his children are grown, he lives 15 years like a dog taking care of the house and eating whatever is given to him, so that when he is old, he can retire and live 10years like a monkey, going from house to house and from one son or daughter to another doing tricks to amuse his grandchildren.

That's Life.

Be Safe - Microwaved Water

Micro waved water - a MUST read

A 26-year old decided to have a cup of coffee. He took a cup of water and put it in the microwave to heat it up (something that he had done numerous times before). I am not sure how long he set the timer for, but he told me he wanted to bring the water to a boil. When the timer shut the oven off, he removed the cup from the oven. As he looked into the cup, he noted that the water was not boiling, but instantly the water in the cup 'blew up' into his face. The cup remained intact until he threw it out of his hand but all the water had flown out into his face due to the build up of energy. His whole face is blistered and he has 1st and 2nd degree burns to his face, which may leave scarring. He also may have lost partial sight in his left eye. While at the hospital, the doctor who was attending to him stated that this is fairly common occurrence and water (alone) should never be heated in a microwave oven. If water is heated in this manner, something should be placed in the cup to diffuse the energy such as: a wooden stir stick, tea bag, etc. It is however a much safer choice to boil the water in a teakettle.
General Electric's (GE) response:
Thanks for contacting us. I will be happy to assist you. The e-mail that you received is correct. Microwaved water and other liquids do not always bubble when they reach the boiling point. They can actually get superheated and not bubble at all. The superheated liquid will bubble up out of the cup when it is moved or when something like a spoon or tea bag is put into it. To prevent this from happening and causing injury, do not heat any liquid for more than two minutes per cup. After heating, let the cup stand in the microwave for thirty seconds before moving it or adding anything into it.
If you pass this on ..... you could very well save someone from a lot of pain and suffering.

Do you or your loved ones suffer from severe headaches?

The nose has a left and a right side we use both to inhale and exhale.

Actually they are different you would be able to feel the difference. The right side represents the sun, left side represents the moon. During a headache try to close your right nose and use your left nose to breathe.

In about 5 minutes your headache will go.

If you feel tired just reverse close your left nose and breathe through your right nose. After a while you will feel your mind is refreshed.

Right side belongs to 'hot' so it gets heated up easily left side belongs to 'cold'.

Most females breathe with their left noses so they get "cooled off" faster.

Most of the guys breathe with their right noses they get worked up.

Do you notice the moment we wake up which side breathes faster? Left or right? ?

If left is faster you will feel tired.

So close your left nose and use your right nose for breathing you will get refreshed quickly.

This can be taught to kids but it is more effective when practiced by adults.

My friend used to have bad headaches and was always visiting the doctor.

There was this period when he suffered headaches literally every night & unable to study.

He took pain killers but they did not work.

He decided to try out the breathing therapy here: closed his right nose and breathed through his left nose.

In less than a week his headaches were gone! He continued the exercise for one month.

This alternative natural therapy without medication is something that he has experienced.

So why not give it a try?

Don't Quit

When things go wrong as they sometimes will,

When the road you’re trudging seems all uphill,

When the funds are low, and the debts are high,

And you want to smile, but you have’to sigh,

When care is pressing you down a bit-

Rest, if you must, but don’t quit.

Life is queer with its twists and turns,

As everyone of us sometimes learns,

And many a failure turns about

When he might have won had he stuck it out;

Don’t give up though the pace seems slow—

You may succeed with another blow.

Success is failure turned inside out—

The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,

And you never can tell how close you are,

It may be near when it seems so far;

So, stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit—

It’s when things seem worst that you mustn’t quit.

ALL ABOUT SEX

Sex has been portrayed as one of the best mediums for achieving ultimate delight and pleasure. Hardly is it considered as an expression of spirituality. However, taking a deeper look at the sexual phenomenon and reconsidering the potentialities of this divine gift will go a long way in broadening and deepening our spiritual dimensions.

1) Sex has been created by God

Sex is not man-made., but it is inherited by each human being as a part of his/her instinct. It is a gift of nature. Thus, sexual intimacy is a reflection of the divine purpose.

Another notable fact is that the pleasure that comes while engaging in the sexual act suggests that sex was not created just for the purpose of procreation but also for the celebration of love and life itself.

The capacity of human love to create such ecstasy speaks a lot about the creator and that celebration and ecstasy is his way of life.

2) Sexual intimacy is also a divine expression of spirituality

The merging of two individuals as a part of sexual intimacy reflects the unity and merger of the creation with that of the creator. This expression of unity can be seen throughout the nature and in all living beings.

This unity connects all living beings with each other and connects them with the existence. There is a divine harmony and a deep inter-relationship. Sexual intimacy is therefore an expression of this underlying deep unity of creation..

3) Sexual intimacy gives rise to life

Life is among the most sacred and mysterious phenomenons. The connection of sex being a source of procreation gives it an immense sacredness. Therefore, all those who engage in the sexual act should enter into it and perform it with a sense of sacredness.

This can also be witnessed in the afterglow phase of sex when the physical unity is immediately followed by a deeper emotional and spiritual bond that forms among the participants. This is probably not replicated in any other way in our life. This bonding is also the essence of spirituality seen in nature.

4) Connection with the self is a pre-requisite for good sex

In order to maximize the emotional, spiritual and psychological effects of the bonding that arises during sexual intimacy, a deep connection with our self is required. Sex is not merely a biological act, but it can connect us to the divinity around and within us.

Individuals who are disconnected with their self and have a very negative view of themselves find it difficult to achieve deeper sexual bonding and affection with their partners.

In conclusion, we can see that sexual intimacy is among the many divine gifts given to us by the existence that can help us in a better understanding and appreciation of ourselves, as well as our relationship with God.
